Evan Barnett is a native of Toronto, Canada who is an avid cyclist and gatt collector. He spends his summers working as a canoeing guide and beaver whisperer. Evan is currently employed as an outdoors guide in the San Juan Islands. While at Evergreen, he had the opportunity to work as an outdoors guide in New Zealand. |

Minnesota girl Beth Belanger enjoys the outdoors and attending String Cheese Incident and Yonder Mountain String Band concerts. Beth loves bluegrass jam-band music. She would like to work with the environment and help save the planet. She and her fellow Cheese-Heads made a quilt to take to the concert where they dance and have a good time. |

James Fick is woodworker extraordinaire. During his time at Evergreen he took a number of woodworking classes where he made anything from a clock to a guitar. As a matter of fact James and Erik Podhora invented the "office guitar" in the GovDocs/Maps Office. The office guitar was made of a map tube and rubber bands. |

Shyam Khanna is very active at Evergreen. During 2008/2009, Shyam was elected to the Geoduck Union (student government) and is very politically active in the community as well. |

Michael Martin is a practicing musician with his own band called Willow's Bones. Mike writes his own music and holds concerts between Port Townsend and Olympia. His brand of music is contemporary folk rock. Mike spends his summers working at Fort Flagler in his hometown of Port Townsend. Be sure to say Hi! to him when you go visit. His parents recently adopted a boy and a girl with whom Mike spends some time during the weekends. Mike has appeared in two movies. One as an extra in the television version of the Caine Mutiny Court Martial (1989) and The Day Boy & the Night Girl (1986) where he had the starring role as Photogen. Other hobbies include hiking and underwater archaeology. |

Erik Podhora has numerous interests including spending his summers battling forest fires. During Spring 2009, he will spend the quarter on a learning contract researching oral history by interviewing his grandparents. |

Kristine Zink is a well-traveled person. Her interest in Asian studies have taken her to Japan and India a number of times. |
